A Guinness World Record, Le Mans Pros, And The Stig, Timed To The Biggest Shopping Day On Earth

Xbox - WutzNxt impact story

WutzNxt worked with Xbox to unite Forza racing fans across China around a single goal, an official Guinness World Record. The event brought together 22 teams of two, including a squad of real professional Le Mans drivers, to chase the fastest time through Forza Motorsport 5's official Triple Crown.

A cast built for attention

WutzNxt joined forces with Top Gear China and brought in The Stig as Grand Marshal, alongside partners Turn 10 Studios, Monster Headphones, and McLaren. It was an event engineered to be impossible to ignore.

The record

The winning team, professional Le Mans drivers Ho-Pin Tung and David Cheng, was announced at the Top Gear China launch in Shanghai with a record-setting cumulative time of 3 hours, 4 minutes, and 38 seconds.

The payoff

Forza's Race for the Record drove a major uplift in Xbox sales and awareness across China, timed deliberately to 11/11, one of the largest shopping days in the world. It was a clinic in turning a marketing moment into a measurable commercial result in a market notoriously hard to crack.
