Doc's is the working name for a live music social network Jeff has been co-building for roughly five years, alongside CEO Gary Kucher, COO Adam Blazer, and advisors including Bing Gordon and the legendary music manager Doc McGhee, from whom the current name comes.
The one thing AI cannot fake
In an era where more than half of uploaded music is AI generated and recorded content is infinitely reproducible, the one thing that cannot be synthesized is a live performance, a real band, in a real room, on a night that happens once. Doc's is built to own that moment. Shows stream free from independent venues, live only, never recorded, never replayed, and artists and venues keep 100 percent of the revenue their performance generates.
The infrastructure already in place
The platform includes owned and patented streaming technology, a live ad exchange running brand-safe, cookie-free, provably human inventory, a social network with profiles and group workspaces, and more than 9,000 claimable US venue pages already indexed.
Where the whole career points
Doc's is the convergence of a thesis Jeff has carried for 40 years, own both the message and the product margin. From the MTV era through the Taylor Swift and CoverGirl play through Vice, this is the platform where that idea finally has the technology, the market conditions, and the team to execute.
